Wagner Power Painter Plus Giveaway!

Marty had this old dresser from when he was a kid. I think most kids of the 80’s all had practically the same dresser in the same color, am I right?

Dresser Before

This dresser has seen better days, but it’s a good quality, solid wood piece. I have been itching to try my hand at using a paint sprayer to refinish furniture, never having used one before. The kind folks at Ace Hardware sent me a Wagner Spray Power Painter Plus with EZ Tilt Technology from  AND I get to give one away to you (valued at $99.99)!

When I opened the box for the paint sprayer, to my surprise it had this incredibly handy pour spout. It really does work. I’m keeping this with my paint supplies from here on out. Makes pouring much less messy.

When I was in Chicago meeting with the Ace Hardware folks, I had the chance to chat with Lou Manfredini about using a paint sprayer to paint a dresser. He recommended this particular sprayer and his tips were to use really light, even coats.

I was a little nervous painting this dresser. What if I ruin it? It’s my husband’s childhood dresser! Then reality kicked in and I realized it can’t get much worse ;). The thing was pretty banged up.

So I got out my sprayer, diligently read through the instructions, realized it was pretty easy and straightforward, and pulled the trigger.

It is electric which is nice too. Many paint sprayers run on an air compressor, so I was excited to find out I didn’t have to haul our compressor out of the garage.

So one coat of primer and a couple of light coats later (sanding between coats), followed by a clear top coat that I brushed on, I have this finished beauty.

The sprayer was a huge time saver and I highly recommend it! And my worries of ruining the dresser were totally unfounded. It looks 1000x better.

I would love to paint my sofa table. It is solid wood and kinda sad looking right now—a new coat of paint would definitely rejuvenate it!

This is all I want for Christmas. I have a corner of items piling up that are ready to be painted, including my bathroom vanity. Happy Thanksgiving.

Wow, I love the transformation on the dresser–the white and black is so crisp! I would paint lots of things, including a dresser that I’m dying to repaint and a big dining room table.

I am getting ready to paint my kitchen cabinets. I had them “professionally” done two years ago and they are awful, so I decided after doing my bathrooms with a roller and a rush I could do the kitchen too. But this would make it so much easier!

I’d love to finish my sons room as well as the nursery. Oh and the bench on the front porch and all of the furniture in my bedroom and the kitchen chairs. I have all the spray paint but this would make it so much better!

Love how professional this looks. Have lots of inherited furniture that are desperate to be refinished but haven’t been able to decide what brand of sprayer to buy.

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE this! We are just getting ready to move into our first house (we’ve been renting) and I have a TON of projects in my line up, the first being an old bench almost exactly like the one in your photo! :) Thanks for the giveaway!
